People with Alzheimer's at High Risk of Falling and Other Injuries

It is extremely hard to watch a loved one be diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. It’s a struggle watching family members begin to lose memories or forget what they were doing just moments ago. This is exactly why urgent care in Lynwood is so important for someone with Alzheimer’s disease. Simple tasks such as cooking something on the stove, driving a car, leaving the iron on, or forgetting to turn the bathwater off could all lead to accidents. Medical journal Age and Ageing had published a study that found seniors with Alzheimer’s to be three times more likely to suffer from hip fractures than those without the disease.
